Who provides it

MAINFRAME// and the account service at accounts.etern-kv.net are provided by etern.kv. Contact: support@etern-kv.net.

The app

MAINFRAME// is free. It is licensed to you, not sold, for your personal use; do not resell it or remove its notices. Parts of it are open-source software under their own licences, listed in the app (Settings › About) and in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES. It is in alpha: keep your own backups (the app makes daily copies of the Core).

MAINFRAME// is for adults — 18 and over, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.

mik-o1 is an AI

mik-o1’s replies are generated by AI models. They can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable; they are not medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. MAINFRAME// is not a crisis service — in immediate danger, call your local emergency number. You are responsible for how you use what mik-o1 says, and for what you send to the AI providers you connect, under their terms.

What you write and what mik-o1 keeps are yours and stay on your computer; we claim no rights in them.

Accounts

An account is optional and is for one person. Keep your sign-in secure. We may suspend an account used for abuse or against these terms — for example, accounts made automatically to collect First Thousand numbers. You can delete your account at any time.

The Founder’s Edition

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. The price, with any tax, is shown at checkout.

The Founder’s Edition is a one-time purchase of recognition and cosmetic content: the seal and its number, a place in the Founders’ Register, the Garnet and Moonwater themes, the Edition binding of the Archive book, the Edition icon and the Edition frame on the Stats card. It changes nothing about how MAINFRAME// works, for you or anyone else. Numbers are given in order of purchase and never reissued.

You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Edition in MAINFRAME// for as long as MAINFRAME// is offered; versions you already have keep it offline. An Edition code is for you: a code that is shared or resold may be disabled for accounts.

A name in the Founders’ Register must not impersonate anyone, offend, advertise or include someone else’s personal information; we may hide a name that does.

Changes and the end of the service

We may change or stop the account service; where we reasonably can, we will say so in advance. If it stops, Editions already unlocked keep working in the app offline.

Warranty and liability

MAINFRAME// and the account service are provided as they are, without warranties, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for more than you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date below changes; a change that matters is also said in the app before it applies.
